Marketed in 1964, the Pentax Spotmatic is a 24x35mm reflex camera with a light, handy and very robust body. The very gentle arming is done by lever. It has a self-timer as well as two front flash sync sockets, M and X ..
It is equipped with a 42mmm diameter optical screw mount called "M42", developed by Zeiss and Praktica during the pre-war period. This mount was the most advanced standard at the time.
Our Spotmatic are also equipped with Takumar or Super Takumar lenses, manufactured by Asahi Optical Co. Optics still considered today as among the best ever produced. The lenses, depending on the model, open up to f / 2 or f / 1.8.
