Description
The Washi "I" film is a black and white film originally designed for industrial radiography, with a sensitivity of 80 ISO, ultra-fine grain, and high contrast. It has a 175 μm blue polyester base, offering a unique texture and a distinctive aesthetic, without an anti-halation layer.
It is ideal for landscape, portrait, urban photography, and still life. This film is intended for experimental photographers seeking original and distinctive results.
The film can be developed with classic developers like D-76, Rodinal, or Ilfosol 3, adjusting the times and dilutions for 80 ISO. If using an unlisted developer, it is recommended to base the times and dilutions on Ilford HP5 at 400 ISO.
Available in 120 format, it loads normally, but due to its thickness, it should be handled with care to avoid scratches. This fragile film requires careful handling to preserve its quality.
